The Faubourg Saint-Honoré Committee supported the Enfants Cancer Santé association this year. A large raffle in which many luxury brands participated was set up for the Winter Time.
The event
On November 18th, the Faubourg Saint-Honoré donned its lights to celebrate the end-of-year festivities, which attract a large number of visitors each year.
A new project of chic and refined illuminations was unveiled to the public.
The decorations, garlands, scrolls, pompoms and luminous crossings are tinted with silver, gold and white to create a warm and friendly atmosphere, imbued with the traditional magic of this time of year.
Real pieces of goldsmithing, gold and silver fir trees mark the neighborhood in front of each participating store.
Following last year’s success, the entire neighborhood is equipped with sound between November 18th and Christmas.
The process
The launch of the Illuminations took place in the presence of Alice Taglioni, Benjamin Cymerman, President of the Committee, Jeanne d’Hauteserre, Mayor of the 8th arrondissement of Paris, Marie-Hélène Nguyen, President of the Fédération Enfants Cancers Santé as well as Michèle Lee, President of the Bund in Shanghai with whom we have just signed a twinning agreement. The evening continued with a cocktail at the Eclaireur, where journalists, personalities and members of the Committee were invited.
The raffle
For the launch of the Christmas lights, the Faubourg Saint-Honoré Committee wanted to join forces this year with the Enfants & Santé Association, which is committed to research into cancers and leukemia in children and adolescents.
On this occasion, the Committee is organizing the most glamorous of raffles, all of the profits of which will be donated to the Association to support the work of researchers and doctors, and thus find new treatments for sick children.
The Godmother of the association
Actress Alice Taglioni honored us with her presence for the kick-off of the Christmas lights.
Starring in Sous les jupes des filles and Colt 45, the actress took advantage of the charity evening that is Winter Time to raise awareness among visitors about a cause that is dear to her. The committed artist supports Enfants & Santé, which is mobilizing for research against cancers and leukemia in children and adolescents.
The association
Enfants & Santé is a humanitarian association with a national reach that actively participates in funding research into childhood and adolescent cancers and leukemias. It works in conjunction with the French Society for the Fight against Childhood and Adolescent Cancers and Leukemias (SFCE). Created in 1998, the Enfants & Santé association has been working for nearly 15 years to cure children and adolescents with cancer. As such, it supports research and development in pediatric cancerology through donations and legacies from which it receives.
