For the second year in a row, the Faubourg Saint-Honore Committee celebrated summer with its Summer Time edition. This year, a strong theme: tango. The streets of Buenos Aires came out and set the Faubourg Saint-Honoré alight!
Floral decoration
The red rose was the flower of the event. Symbol of passion, ardor and love. A true common thread, it was staged all along the Faubourg.
The Sound System of the Street
A Lounge playlist with tracks dedicated to the Tango Flashmob was broadcast from 5pm to 10pm, in the rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré, fully soundproofed for the occasion. An “Orquesta tipica” of live musicians took part to present the most beautiful standards of the South American repertoire.
Flashmob tango
Led by Audrey Fleurot, our Ambassador, herself a passionate Tango dancer, 30 couples of dancers performed during several performances of five minutes each.
Tango is a theme rich in elegance and sensuality. This theme therefore naturally imposed itself as a tribute to our Ambassador, Audrey Fleurot.
The Parisian influence is very important in the success of Tango. Born in the suburbs of Buenos Aires, it is then in Paris that this art settles and draws its titles of nobility. Tango, just like the city of Paris, evokes refinement, aesthetics and prestige.
